Summary: Great product and definitly feels as if she's well protected. Very easy to install although it is heavy and my wife had issues when she tried to install on her own. Also the most important thing is my little girl loves it so far as her view isn't restricted like in some of the others.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy to Adjust, Easy to install, Safe, Sturdy, Stylish
Summary: The product arrived so quickly I was pleased as my daughter has grown out of her first seat so quick.she loves the new seat she can sit upright looking forward and feel part if everything happening. It fits the family fix base brilliantly and it can still be adjusted upright and sleeping position.the only down side is it only fits base so if you need to move it to a different car the base has to be moved too, and it doesn't fit all cars..
Pros: Comfortable, Easy to Adjust, Sturdy, Stylish
Maxi-Cosi Pearl Car Seat: An (expensive) shiny Pearl
25 January 2014
Summary: My daughter moved into the Maxi Cosi Pearl car seat when she around 10 months. We purchased the Pearl from Mothercare for around £140, although the price can vary based on the colour option chosen - we went for black but some of the brighter and more patterned versions (it is available in a huge range of colours) can reach around £180. The colour was something though that I didn't care one jot about!
Pros: Padded, easy fastening, Isofix base idea is great, forward facing
Cons: Expense, can be a bit fiddly to fasten to the Isofix base
Summary: The time came recently to buy a new car seat for my little boy. Up until that point he had been sitting in a Maxi Cosy small baby/infant carrier which faced backwards which is what you should put your baby in as it is safer for them when you brake as their neck is protected and it doesn't snap forward like it would if you were travelling forwards. However, he was getting way to big for this seat so we needed to get him a forward facing one.
Summary: Having bought the family fix base for our little one, we were tied to getting the pearl car seat now he's not so little! He loves it and seems really comfy as has slept on longer journeys. Simple to fix and tilts with the base; love the stay open straps.....you just need to be more inventive fixing toys as no handle- a new use for teething links and handle no one uses above door! Would recommend if you have the base already.
