Summary: Very disappointed. While I found the cover does fit over the newborn head hugger, but the summer cover I received is very poor quality, is loose/baggy, has frayed around the unfinished openings/holes, and does not keep my little one any cooler. In fact he still gets hot and sweaty after short journeys (10 mins), which puts me off taking him any distance in the car while the weather is still so warm.
Summary: I strapped the child in (securely) and put this on top of my car. The product description would have you believe this protects your baby from crahses.. However when i had to brake and the car seat flew off the roof it in fact did not do what it advertised. I only give this item 2 instead of 1 because it wasn't my baby so i didn't mind all that much.
Summary: This is a nice footmuff, HOWEVER, don't be fooled when it says "universal design". It only has the holes to fit a 3 point harness. I have to return this because it won't fit onto my daughters 5 point harness car seat.
Good fit, expensive and baby didn't like the fabric
K. So, Amazon

Summary: Amazon send us the wrong cover and took some time and effort to finally received the correct one. The cover cost half as much as the car seat so quite expensive. However it was relatively easy to fit after googling instructions. The instructions it came with was not very good. Unfortunately my baby didn't like the fabric and we had to cover it with blanket on top which made replacing the cover a little pointless.
for the price, you may aswell buy a cheaper brand unless you HAVE to

Excerpt: When my daughter was first born, we had no idea about baby stuff and what was good in terms of value and practicality and so a lot of products and things like different prams (we had 3 different ones!) were trial and error and one of them was this Maxi-Cosi car seat. We literally had it for 8 months after which point it was rendered obsolete but nevertheless here is my overall review of using this car seat.
