Summary: This seat looks nice and the kids say it is comfortable BUT the buckle between the legs is on a short strap and is tight on my kids between the legs. Also my 1 year old was able to unbuckle himself out between the chest. I called the company and they sent me a better buckle he could not undo.
Summary: This is the third Graco car seat that we've bought, and it's our least favorite. It's safe and comfortable for my 4 year old, so there are no complaints there. However, getting him in and out is another story. It's very difficult to get him into the seat so that the padding is straight and not awkward. If the padding is not where it should be, it's impossible to get him buckled in. The straps can be very tight, and the buckle is super difficult to use.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy to Clean, Easy to install, Safe, Sturdy
Summary: my 3 yo seems very comfortable in this and loves the big girl feel. the bottom clip of harness is hard to buckle and unbuckle and i hate that you have to take the seat out of the car to adjust the shoulder strap height.
Summary: This is a really nice carseat, and I feel my 12 month old son is safe every time he's in it. But the fact that its so hard to unbuckle the straps can be very annoying. Sometimes the buttons get stuck and I'm pushing them in hard to undo the straps. I don't think I would recommend this carseat to my friends and family for that reason.
Summary: We bought this for our almost 4 year old. It looks extremely sturdy and he really likes the drink holder. Otherwise, the jury is still out on whether we're going to keep the seat. The buckle is impossible to buckle and unbuckle. The crotch belt is WAY too short. I've read other reviews that said the same thing. It's also very upright.
Summary: This seat is full of great ideas! The hidden snack spaces under the arm rests, the elevated cup holder, and easy adjustment for the back rest. The issues we are having all stem from the crotch buckle. It is super difficult to push the strap pieces into the buckle and also to push the button to release them. Also, every time my daughter gets into the seat, the buckle ends up under her rear and we have to dig for it.
Summary: We bought this seat as a "booster" for our second car. Wanted a small seat that was easy to put in/take out. But also wanted 5-pt harness. The nautilus is where we landed. It's not as small as had hoped for, being similar in size as the Britax marathon in the other vehicle. It's pretty easy to install using the latch system.
Summary: Ok... so we have a love/dislike with our nautilus heres why... Its a FABULOUS infant to small toddler booster and yes it does hold up to 100 lbs BUT once they get taller (my son is 3 1/2) they way the seat positions them his legs fall asleep in the car after a very short amount of time. He starts saying that ants are biting him, meaning his legs are tingly.
Pros: Easy to Adjust, Easy to Clean, Easy to install, Safe, Sturdy, Stylish
Summary: Overall a decent carseat for the price. Like the cupholder and that it changes into a booster. It is somewhat difficult to clip the buckle. You will hear a click thinking it's secure but then realize it is not completely fastened.
