  • Summary: Thinking of returning this car seat-- difficult to understand instructions-- if my daughter falls asleep, her head has no support, even after trying to recline the seat back, her head still has no support-- it's awful how her head is thrown around or will hang-- do not recommend for this reason.

Wish I got a different seat...

Marisa, toysrus.com
18 May 2015
  • Excerpt: This seat is "ok" but there are several major cons that are enough for me to wish we had gotten a different seat. We got this seat for our baby shower and did not start using it until our little one was 19 months old.
  • Pros: Safe, Sturdy
  • Cons: Difficult To Adjust, Heavy

  • Summary: This is our first Graco car seat and I'm not real impressed, we usually buy all Safety First car seats. First off, I was disappointed that my daughter can no longer wear the 5 point harness according to the instruction manual.

  • Summary: The quality of the seat is good, and it looks good and comfortable. Although the recline feature was a huge let down. They shouldn't advertise that it reclines when it only moves back 2 inches literally! The purchase was a big disappointment, since we bought the seat for the recline feature.

Good seat/bad buckle

italianmamma, gracobaby
15 August 2013
  • Summary: This seat looks nice and the kids say it is comfortable BUT the buckle between the legs is on a short strap and is tight on my kids between the legs. Also my 1 year old was able to unbuckle himself out between the chest. I called the company and they sent me a better buckle he could not undo.

Great seat, except the buckle

Mamaof3, gracobaby

  • Summary: This seat is full of great ideas! The hidden snack spaces under the arm rests, the elevated cup holder, and easy adjustment for the back rest. The issues we are having all stem from the crotch buckle.

Disappointed

Full-time mamma, toysrus.com

  • Excerpt: I purchased this carseat based on the safety and consumer reviews, and the fact that I could use the 5 point harness up to 65 pounds, and then convert to a highback and backless booster.
  • Pros: Easy to install, Safe, Stylish
  • Cons: Bulky, Difficult to Set Up, Heavy, Uncomfortable

Liking the Graco Nautilus less every day

  • Excerpt: My daughter has had this carseat now for about 1 1/2 years--I originally bought it because it was highly rated and very versatile. It accomodates children to 65 pounds harnessed and then transforms into a high-back or backless booster.

Gracos Mariposa car seat is ok...

  • Excerpt: This car seat is very pretty and very comfortable for my daughter, and she loves the cup holder where she can reach it. i love the fact that it can grow with her, and because of that the price isn't bad.
