Summary: I'm sure this seat does great in a crash, which is what we want from a safety seat. However the ease of function is poor. Getting my child in and out several times while running errands is a chore with the poorly designed plastic chest buckle. It's a fingertip buster.
Summary: I bought this because of many good reviews for my 1 yr old to use for our other car. we have a Chicco which I completely LUV it! But because they are pricey this is my 2nd runner up. Ok good points>it's not at all bulky easy to use simple my child likes it.
Excerpt: This car seat is recommended a lot to parents because it has very tall harness slot height about 18 in. torso from bottom to top of shoulders which can get a very tall kid to about 6 years old in a 5 point harness. That is great!
Excerpt: My mother in law bought this carseat for my 3 year old daughter to make road trips from northern cali to southern cali. She had bought it because she had read a review saying it was great for reclining, which is not the case. It barely leans back and my daughters head wont stay back.
Summary: After having been in a car accident I purchased this new carseat to replace a different brand car seat that had been in the accident. I greatly enjoyed our other car seat but wanted one that we would have for several years, which is why we decided on the Graco Nautilus.
Excerpt: See safetySupport and SafetyI did my research, just like most parents do. This seat does have great reviews. I've loved it until I was unable to get my 2 year old out of it today and had to cut him out of it. There is NOTHING safe about a product you have to cut a child out of.
Excerpt: I CAN'T STAND THIS CARSEAT!! THE COVER IS GOOD TO HELP KEEP IT CLEAN BETTER, BUT IF ITS NOT PULLED UP ALL THE WAY THE HARNESS STRAPS GET STUCK BEHIND IT AND YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR CHILD OUT TO PULL THE COVER UP AND FIX IT. MAJOR PAIN!
