Summary: Did what it said on the tin. This car baby seat complies with current legislation and seemed safe enough. I would have preferred something with more of a harness arrangement than using the belt, though perhaps it was my fault for not researching the product thoroughly enough. Still, if there's a next time I'm in the market for one of these, I might just spend a bit more on something that seems more comfortable as well as sturdy.
Summary: This is a booster seat, not a seat with full protection. What matters to me is that my son has the seatbelt on his chest and there not being any risk of the seatbelt sliding and blocking his throat in case of an accident. Is it not as comfortable as a child seat, a little harsher. When he falls asleep he's not comfortable, because you can't tilt the booster. I looked for other options, but he's just to big for a child seat.
Excerpt: It works well, fits together easily, is light and easy to get in and out of the car. It's great that it can convert to just a booster seat. However, it's not very cushioned and doesn't have features like recline. The headrests are quite small so when my daughter falls asleep in it her head falls down very easily.
