Eddie Bauer 3-In-1 Convertible Car Seat

krmoss, shopping.com
4 June 2012
  • Summary: I recommend this car seat only for larger infants, and if you have a large vehicle. I would also recommend that you get setup help from the store.
  • Pros: You only have to buy one car seat from birth until booster seat time.
  • Cons: Too big; only fits in large vehicles. The instruction booklet is confusing

  • Excerpt: We bought this seat after my son and daughter-in-law's van was stolen, with their Britax Marathon inside. We gave them the Britax we had. Since we had laid out the money for two premium car seats already, I was attracted the the price of the Eddie Bauer seat (around $100).
  • Pros: Price
  • Cons: The straps twist, and the cover is not washable.

  • Pros: Easy to clean. Works great as rear and forward facing. Stylish. Safe.
  • Cons: High price tag even if it is not a trendy cow print name brand.

Very disappointing seat

11 May 2007
  • Summary: Be sure to "test" the car seat in your car. Every seat fits differently so be sure you can return the car seat if you don't like it.
  • Pros: saves money by having convertible seat and booster
  • Cons: Harness extremely difficult to tighten and carseat slides side to side.

  • Cons: Narrow seat-belt path for rear-facing difficult to install, wide seat/base.

Eddie Bauer 3-in-1 - NOT the only seat you'll ever need!

drey72, shopping.com
2 January 2007
  • Summary: OK carseat that won't last as long as you'll expect it to, especially for taller kids.
  • Pros: Versatile, may be more functional with LATCH (see review)
  • Cons: Pricey for what it is, which is not the only seat you'll ever need
