amazing

  • Excerpt: This stroller has seen 3 kids, 2 cars and a trip to hawaii and is still in great shape. ironically we actually have 3 different car seats (a different one for each child) and this is by far the most comfortable one. We love our graco booster for our eldest child but this seat is perfect for children from 1 yr to 4. It is easy to wash down and reclines a little when your child is sleeping.

pretty comfy

  • Excerpt: it's a little more money than some of the other car seats but it is pretty good value. we've had ours for 4 years and only now is it starting toi show signs of wear and tear. It takes up a bit more space in the car than i would like but my son seems very comfortable in it and it reclines a little so that if we're on a longer trip he can sleep better. It is good quality but i'm hoping the new models have a better strap system.

Easy to install and all you need

the baby Scoop
20 July 2010
  • Excerpt: We did our research to find out what type of car seat we wanted after our son out grew the infant Graco Snugride and decided on this for many reasons. It adjusts as your child grows and we had it delivered to the house from the Babies "R" Us website. It was easy to install in our car and other cars when we went to visit friends. The only tricky part was the puzzle clip which has since been revised in newer models of the same seat to have a much simpler clip.

Terrible as a Rear Facing Seat

krogers, the baby Scoop
20 July 2010
  • Excerpt: We bought this convertible car seat when my son outgrew his "bucket" because it was on sale and would accommodate him until he was 8 years old. The thought of using this seat for another 7 tears makes me groan. As a rear facing seat, you need to reach behind the seat to tighten the straps then secure it with the strap between his feet.

Love it, I have 4 of them

  • Excerpt: I have 4 of these carseats and I love them, they all USB in great and the straps fit great. It is a good carseat for my tall 2 year old who has used it since birth and it accomodates his height well. I am not sure why others do not like this seat but I wouldnt buy anything else I actually own four of this same seat.

Excellent car seat!!

the baby Scoop
12 June 2008
  • Excerpt: We bought this car seat after our daughter got too long for her bucket seat. It is wonderful because it will accommodate her from rear facing to a booster. It was very easy to install rear and front facing in our car (without UAS). After reading some reviews about this seat I was really worried about the tightening of the straps. It has never been an issue for us, they are really easy actually. It seems like a very comfortable seat, and is easy to use too.

SCARRED!!!

korser, the baby Scoop
11 November 2007
  • Excerpt: I purchased the car seat about a month ago after my daughter out grew her bucket seat. The installation guide for the system that attaches the car seat to the frame of your car was extremely confusing. Once I had that installed I took it to a car clinic to make sure that I had installed that seat correctly, which of course I hadn't. The seat was extremely bulky to begin with and now it has a large pool noodle underneath it to make it sit properly.

Not so impressive.

  • Excerpt: We initally purchased this car seat as we still needed rearfacing and Cecilia was too long for the snugride any longer. It seemed a bit big in the rearfacing position but I thought, it's only for awhile longer no big deal. Once we turned it around to the forward facing I don't think my husband or myself have ever cursed so much at an object! The loosening and tightening of straps on this is difficult to say the least, we actually groan if we have to use this carseat.

A bit bulky

Jules, the baby Scoop
7 February 2007
  • Excerpt: We bought this because it would take us through all the car seat stages. We love it as a forward-facing car seat...it is comfortable for our son and I feel that he is safe. It is a bit bulky as a rear-facing seat (we had to put it in the middle of our Honda Civic and even then it was a stretch to fit properly and at the right angle.

keeps going and going!

the baby Scoop
24 October 2006
  • Excerpt: we registered for this car seat after much deliberation and actually received two- so we put one in each car. At first we used the baby carrier and car seat with our graco stroller mostly while lydia was a baby, but in daddy's car in was always this one. When she got too big for the carrier we switched this one totally. She is now 2.5 and still loves the car seat.
