Great Compact Convertible Seat
8 July 2014
Excerpt: This is a great COMPACT car seat. If you have a smaller car or need multiple car seats/booster seats in the rear, this won't take up much space. The con is that the weight limit only goes up to 40 lb. However, if you have less than average weighted children, this isn't an issue. At 4.5 years old, my first daughter still doesn't weigh 40 lb., so I knew this seat will last my second daughter until she moves into a booster seat.

Excerpt: I bought this car seat for my third child and I wish I would've known about it when the first two were little also. I did a lot of research to find a car seat that was was affordable without having to compromise quality or design. Although the price was a little higher than what I initially wanted to spend, after trying it out in the store I knew it would be worth the extra money.

Excerpt: This car seat is great for newborns and toddlers alike. If you're a traveler, this is an essential piece. It's great to have ONE piece that can transition from the car to an airplane. It's light (just over 12lbs) making it EASY to carry through an airport and it's not bulky so it easily fits in right spaces. Most other car seats weigh at least 26 pounds! Imagine trucking through an airport with a stroller, car seat, infant/toddler, diaper bag, and luggage.
Excerpt: Just want to mentioned that it is spelled "Coccoro", not "Cocorro". Well, this car seat was my life saver. I have three kids and a small car. Before my third baby arrived, we were looking for a compact car seat to fit in our car. There are not many of them on the market. Well, if we could not fit 3 car seats on our backseat, we would have to buy a new car. I found Coccoro car seat and ordered it. It was around $150, which is not bad for a convertible car.
Summary: I bought this seat before my daughter was born because my car is a very small 2-door Honda Civic. I read that the Coccoro was highly rated for ease of use in small cars, and those reviews were right! The seat is easy to install, light, and seems to be very comfortable. We've been using it for a year and have had no issues with it.
However, it has a very short shell, so if your child is taller than average, you won't get to use this seat very long.
Excerpt: We have a very small car, and had a hard time finding a way to accomidate multiple carseats in it. Replacing the car was not in the budget, so we turned to the Combi Coccoro, and have been very pleased. It's sturdy, compact and comfortable for baby. It fits nicely in a small car, both forward and rear facing, and I can put multiple carseats in my car with ease.
Excerpt: I have the Combi Coccoro seat in the dark red color. I bought the seat because we have a Volkswagen Jetta, which is really small, and it is hard to find convertable car seats that fit in in comfortably. We had a Recaro Como in there, and it fit, but was tall, and I kept bumping my toddler's head on the roof of the car when putting her in it. I have loved the Cocorro ever since we installed it. My husband said the installation was very easy too.
Excerpt: I registered for this car seat and received it as a gift from my grandmother. I orginally wanted it because it is small and can transition with the child. I drive a Ford Escort, so the size of the car seat was a big deciding factor for me. Also, I wanted something that could be used for quite a while. I didn't want to buy an infant car seat and then have to buy another car seat in a few months. This car seat solved both of those issues!
Excerpt: This car seat is great, except for one issue. The issue I had was in the rear facing position, I had a difficult time getting it to stay in the required horizontal position. It wouldn't stay but would flip upwards. I found that rolling a towel up and putting it where the seats meet and the bottom of the car seat would eliminate this issue.
