Excerpt: No complaints about the base but the car seat makes my baby really hot. She only cries when she's hungry and now when she's in the car seat at 75 degrees in San Diego. I'll have to buy a new car seat and of course base.
Excerpt: If anyone is ever thinking of buying a Chicco Keyfit 30 infant car seat, DON'T DO IT! It's a horrible design.. It is literally like the only car seat ever, that doesn't fit into a shopping cart.. Unless you want to put it in the actual cart part.. but then you can't put groceries in there, so there's no point in taking your infant shopping.. It's a thousand freaking pounds.. Seriously the heaviest car seat I've ever had to carry..
Excerpt: As far as we can tell this is a great car seat and will serve its purpose well. Our baby has not been born yet so other than speaking for the quality and appearance of seat I can't vouch for much else. My biggest reason writing this review is more on the ordering process rather than the seat itself. This is a Babies R Us exclusive product and is currently out of stock with a to be determined stock date...
Pros: Easy to install, Lightweight, Safe, Sturdy, Stylish
Excerpt: This was supposed to be a wonderful carseat, and as a carseat alone it was fine. But unlike my graco Snug ride carseat this one didn't "fit" any of the other baby things. It didn't "fit" in the shopping cart without the baby being so reclined it felt like he was going to fall out. We also had this wonderful swaying swing that you could put a carseat in but the Chicco ones did not fit, most other brands did.
