Originally from South Africa it is not a booster seat

Pros: A really comfortable baby seat, which I am delighted to see here in the UK. It was very common in South Africa, I think because it is very difficult to climb out of and the baby stays seated whilst you do your chores. But my baby is happy to sit and play within and I am happy she is off the cold ...
Cons: But it cannot be used as a booster seat as there are no safety straps to secure it to a chair so it’s hopeless for that purpose. Also being so big and bulky cannot be carried around to other places to use.
When baby can't sit but is bored of lying down: comfy, secure, easy to clean, great when you start to wean!

Summary: Bought in the Mothercare sale for £25 it's been very useful, especially for keeping an eye on baby whilst in the bathroom. Baby enjoyed the different view offered by being sat up instead of lying down, and it was great for having baby at the dinner table (Please note there's a warning on the box...
Pros: Comfortable and secure for baby once he can hold his head up Portable & great for sitting baby in while you cook/clean/wash etc Wipe-clean Stable simple design that will last several children Greast re-sale value once you no longer need it!
Cons: Can be expensive Limited use - baby can get out of it once he's mobile! Colour can fade if left in sunlight
Summary: If your going to buy one, get it as soon as u can and put ur baby in it as soon as they can hold there head up. Also, buy one second hand and keep it nice so u could sell it on.. (on ebay or to a friend)
Pros: brill when there little and not wriggly, about 3-5 months..
Cons: when they start getting bored, they just lean over and over it goes.. Sticks to there bum..
Excerpt: My son really enjoyed this little chair, from about 3-6 months old he sat in it and played with his toys for about 1/2 hour at a time. Plus it's very convenient to take to friends houses so there's a place for baby to sit when you have to feed them versus using your stroller, the bumbo is so easy to...
Excerpt: I loved the bumbo chair my son used it all the time and it was even handier when they come out with the tray to go on it. The only down side is I thought it was a touch pricy but thank goodness it was a gift. We intend to use it for our next baby also.
Excerpt: We totally love our Bumbo Seat, we take it everywhere we go. My son can sit in it for ling periods of time as long as his toys are near by. I put a small box filled with toys in front of him and he keeps busy emptying out he box. I sit him outside of the kitchen and bathroom when I'm cleaning them.
Excerpt: When Erin was around 2 months old I knew that it was time to start thinking about getting her a little Bumbo seat. I had been torn between getting a Bumbo and the Mamas and Papas alternative but circumstances meant me getting a Bumbo.
Pros: Great for development, nice seat for a child
Excerpt: I got this seat when my daughter was just starting to hold her own head up, it supports their back really well. I didn't use the seat belt that it comes with, as I always had the Bumbo sitting on the floor anyway. We did not get a lot of use as my daughter did not like it.
