Summary: It's clearly stated in the description: "You can also use it [..] while the original cover is being washed." From which I could only assume it is suitable for replacing the original cover. Which it cannot as it is just an elastic throw-over-cover with no padding what so ever. I finally got the sewing machine out and repaired the old cover incl mounting a new pull cord all around the edge so it wouldn't keep coming off, and stuck this cover on top for looks.
Summary: Wasnt what I was expecting , said in description that the cover can be used instead of the original cover , as well as on top . Has no padding at all and would be unsuitable for use without original cover underneath.
Summary: As per other reviewers, it's a piece of foam. Costs 10p to make. If this cost me 10p I would rate it 5stars. If it cost me £1 I'd still give it 5stars. But it cost me near on £20 for something that should be provided par for course.
Summary: This must be the most expensive piece of foam ever marketed. How can Britax justify such an outrageous price for something which should have been fitted in the seat in the first place? They know they have got you over a barrel because it is for child safety. I will never buy another Britax product again. If I'm ever in a shop selling their goods, I will offer my opinions to any prospective buyers. All friends and relatives will be told about it , etc , etc.
Excerpt: Installation is awful and it doesn`t bring any instrutcions. Despite my 144 points IQ and several hours of experimenting I still didn`t figure it out, so I guess it DOESN`T REDUCE WRONG INSTALLATION RISK
Summary: When I bought Britax Duo Plus seat, this Top Tether Kit was recommended as an addition by the site. I would of thought that as its supposed to be compatible with the seat that there would be proper seat attachments for the tether. I gave up trying to follow the instructions on how to fix the tether to the seat and sent it back for a refund. The seat seems fine without it when using the ISOFIX connection.
Excerpt: Would not go near it with a barge pole! Have had two with failing mechanisms and it seems the handbook is incorectly written. Sadly money in this case did not buy a good product, theory is great but execution was poor once you tried to move it around in cars. Sorry Britax but would go for Maxi Cosi everytime now...
