Summary: I did many hours of research before purchasing a new carseat for my 8-month-old son, and ultimately bought the Britax Diplomat based on safety, size, and comfort. Although it's only been in my 2000 Honda Accord for a day, it's already been worth the price. My son hated his old carseat, a Graco Snugride, and cried every time he was in the car. Once I narrowed down what brand I wanted, I had a lot of trouble deciding which model to get.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy to Adjust, Easy to install, Safe, Sturdy, Stylish
Summary: We bought this car seat for my son about a month ago he is 21 pounds already so it was time to make the change. We knew we wanted a britax but when we started to see how much room all these car seat took up in the backseat the sales man suggested we look at the diplomat which only goes up to 40 lbs but by then most children switch to a booster.
Summary: My 9 month old little girl seems to really like this seat. I moved her out of her infant seat to this one and she has done great. It is very secure. Fits well in my jeep grand cherokee. Reclines enough in the rear facing position she is able to sleep comfortably. The bottom strap does seem a little short, but still ok. Overall very happy with it.
