Not Sure...

momof1happybaby, diapers.com
20 April 2009
  • Summary: I just bought this car seat and was really excited to put it in the car and use it. I read through all the instructions and made sure to watch videos on britax's website to make sure I could properly install the seat. I have an 07 durango and it is a bit of a tight fit (installing it rear facing) but I didn't mind if that meant my daughter was going to be safe.
  • Pros: Design, Padding, Safety
  • Cons: bulky, Hard to install, Hard to tighten straps

It took a while for me to love it.

  • Summary: I only wanted a Britax and when our daughter was just about to outgrow her infant seat, I finally got my husband to agree to buy a Britax - he coulnd't imagine what the seat did for the price. I couldn't wait to get it home and installed. The first problem I had was tightening the straps. No matter how hard I pulled, the straps were never tight enough. I even was pulling the straps from behind (it is Rear Facing) to tighten the straps.

  • Summary: We bought this for my son when he outgrew his snugride at 6 months. I absolutely wanted Britax and I believe just about anything with the Britax name on it is high quality and is a great product. I think we went with this one just because we wanted some extra side protection. And we wanted something that went up to 65lbs. We will be getting another one for the baby on the way when he outgrows the snugride. Can't do any better than Britax.

  • Summary: This model accomodates up to 65lbs PLUS it has the 3 position crotch adjustment which is great for babies with chubby legs and for little boys. Recommend for after baby grows out of infant seat.

Good and safe car seat, but some annoyances

Madtown mother of 2 under 2 yrs old, diapers.com
24 July 2008
  • Summary: I purchased this car seat due to the high safety rating. My daughter seems like she is really comfortable in it. Other reviews I read that the strap is difficult to pull tight in rear facing position, which is true. The extra hardware provided by the "recall" helps, though. When I buckle the crotch strap only one side makes a clicking noise.
