Wanted to love, seat didnt fit in my car

Austins Mommy, toysrus.com
17 April 2013
  • Summary: I knew I wanted this seat from day one, Britax is all I buy! I was very bummed that it didn't fit in my 2007 Jeep Compass. For one I couldn't get a tight fit with the base, tried installing it with latch and seatbelt. Both ways had excessive movement. The anti rebound bar didn't make correct contact with my seat. No matter what I did, the bubble indicator always said it was unlevelled. Lastly, most of the base hung off my seat, which personally I didn't like.
  • Pros: Safe, Sturdy, Stylish
  • Cons: Bulky, Hard to Install, Heavy

NOT compatible with flat rear seats

Newbie Mama, toysrus.com
28 February 2013
  • Summary: I received this product off my registry. After installation and a check at the local fire house I was told something was wrong with the level indicator and to contact Britax CS right away. Britax CS told me that because BOTH of my family cars apparently have flat rear seats that this car seat was incompatable. If you really want this car seat I'd suggest checking the level indicator with your back seat to make sure it's compatable before you throw out your reciepts.
  • Pros: Safe, Stylish
  • Cons: Difficult To Adjust, Difficult to Set Up, Hard to Install

So Worth It!

Steph mommy of 3, toysrus.com
4 February 2013
  • Summary: This is for my 3rd child, my first girl and I was so indecisive about which car seat I wanted. I searched for the best & safest car seats on the market and this was the first one to come up - specifically the Chaperone. The bar at the bottom is a Rebound bar and the need for one makes very good sense! I'm so excited about the padding it comes with! Straps are a great length.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easy to Adjust, Easy to Clean, Easy to install, Safe, Sturdy, Stylish
  • Cons: Bulky

Its okay

mrsG, toysrus.com
28 October 2012
  • Summary: We got this as a gift, and its a good carseat, but there are some things I would change on it. Like how heavy it is...I'm have a hard time carrying it in and out of the car. And another thing it barely fits in the back seat, the front seat had to be pushed almost all the way up, where nobody can ride up front. It does take me a while to strap in my son, but it does feel safe. I do trust this car seat.
  • Pros: Safe, Sturdy, Stylish
  • Cons: Bulky, Difficult To Adjust, Heavy

safe, but very heavy and bulky

katie, toysrus.com
23 October 2012
  • Summary: I thought this car seat looked awesome, had great safety ratings and looked comfortable. This is my third baby.. 2 nd car seat. Baby is six months golf, 15#.. and I can barely lift or maneuver with third car seat. I have to deal with it for 6 more months! Also had to go through a huge hassle to get adapters from the factory for the stroller... Miss my chicco key fit... the grass is not always greener.
  • Pros: Safe, Stylish
  • Cons: Bulky, Difficult To Adjust, Difficult to Set Up, Hard to Install, Heavy, Uncomfortable

Both my kids hate it

HOZ, toysrus.com
4 September 2012
  • Summary: We used this car seat with our now 2.5-year.old, and always just thought she was one of those kids who hates being in a car seat, as she always screamed her lungs out from the moment we put her in until the moment we took her out. She was and is an unusually active kid, so we just figured she didn't like being strapped in. Now we are using it again with our 2-month-old, who's generally very easy-going, but she also screams her lungs out as long as she's in this car seat.
  • Pros: Easy to Adjust, Easy to install, Large Canopy, Safe, Sturdy
  • Cons: Bulky, Heavy, Uncomfortable

Great Infant Seat! Love It!

Tahoe Mountain Mama, toysrus.com
17 August 2012
  • Summary: Love this seat! It is very secure! Unlike others the foot at the front of the base keeps it from moving up and down. The seat isn't as heavy as some of the other reviews state, I am 5'6" and regular build and carried it on my forearm often. We used this with my son who is now 2, and will be using it with our second baby who is due in a few weeks. We have since purchased the next step up Britax Marathon in same cowmooflage and love it as well.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easy to Adjust, Easy to Clean, Easy to install, Lightweight, Safe, Sturdy, Stylish

Great car seat and quality!

KA, toysrus.com
17 July 2012
  • Summary: We bought this car seat along with the Britax B-Ready Stroller and it couldn't have been a better choice! We wanted a stylish, safe and sturdy travel system and this is it! It is PERFECT for us! Our daughter, without a doubt, always falls asleep in her car seat and seems to be very comfortable in it. We have received many compliments on it and compared to other car seats, this is by far one of the better brands... you can tell just by the quality and construction alone.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easy to Adjust, Easy to Clean, Easy to install, Safe, Sturdy, Stylish

Safest Seat on the Market!

Brayden's Momma, toysrus.com
13 July 2012
  • Summary: I was a bit obsessed with researching the best baby items when I was pregnant. This was the seat that won our vote by far!! Some things we love: 1) Rated the safest on the market (as of dec 2011)- yes you can find other infant seats that are less expensive, but you get what you pay for, and who wants to put a price on our little one's safety??
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easy to Adjust, Easy to Clean, Easy to install, Safe, Sturdy, Stylish
  • Cons: Heavy
