Summary: im a nanny and have had this seat for 8 mths and the only niggle ive found is it doesnt recline as much as i would like although none of the babies and toddlers ive used it for have seemed fussed and have all slept happily in it. all in all a fab seat, easy to install in my renault scenic (and yes the car does have floor storage but the leg doesnt lie on the lid its further forward on the floor so its safe).
Summary: We got this car seat as it is 5 times safer in a frontal collision than a forward facing seat. This makes complete sense to me and so I had to get rear facing. the izi combi x3 was the only one i could find reviews on (which and a couple of other sites). It's easy to install, but it is big. We have an X5 and the front seat has to move quite a long way forward to accomodate the seat. You can sit comfortably in the front seat - just.
Summary: We loved this seat so much, that we bought a second one for the second car, or grandparents car. The seat is the best quality of any seat I have seen, and the rear facing positioning is something I would never move away from since trying this. I have no doubt this is the safest option for my son. Highly recommended.
Summary: I bought this seat because of its safety profile and high ranking in european safety tests. It is very bulky, we have a vectra and behind the front passenger seat it really compromises leg room in the front. I think its a price worth paying for safety and the car seat truly doesn't budge but I would have reservations if we had a smaller car. Also in bucket seats it is harder to acheive the reclining position but this is the case with most car seats I've tried.
Summary: Although the be safe x3 is on the pricey side we are very happy with it. It is a large car seat so I would make sure that it fits in your car before purchasing, we have a Honda civic 5 door and it fits but someone taller than 5'10 might struggle to sit in the front seat. Our little one has fallen asleep in it so it must be comfortable. I would recommend.
Summary: Carseat fab!Rearfacing is 5times safer,so I was pleased to see it on PLO site&my daughter loves it as it's high enough to look out the window!Only niggle is the strap to pull the harness takes a bit of pulling to get nice&tight!I was expecting fitting to be v difficult but was pleasantly supprised!
