Summary: We had the baby trend zanzibar travel system with my daughter. Assuming we were not having more children I sold it and 2 1/2 years later a little boy came along 3 weeks early. Ordered this and it got here right before we had to bring him home from the NICU. The seat is wonderful, I knew I wanted baby trend. It's easy to get in and out of the car, the trangle handle at the top is wonderful and the seat is sooo light weight!
Summary: I have a 18 month old and am 4 months pregnant. I spent a long time comparison shopping and am glad I chose this car seat. We had an Eddie Bauer with our first and it was really awkward to carry and hard to clean. This one has a super versatile handle, has been easy to get in and out of the car and works great with the matching double stroller we got!
Summary: I really liked this car seat. Our son, who is big for his age, just outgrew it, and he's 10 months old. I liked the triangle handle because I hold it in different directions in my hand. It's a little heavy, but this also made it feel sturdier and safer to me.
Summary: This car seat frustrates me daily! It is damn near impossible to use the flex loc to get the handle to go down. So I have to carefully try and pull my baby out of the car seat with the handle still up. I've accidentally bumped him several times because it's in the way and he jerks just as I'm getting him out. The car seat is awkward to carry as well, but mainly I hate the fact that no person alive is strong enough to get the darn handle to go down!
Summary: I, like others, bought this carseat despite negative reviews. I had to fit three car seats in the back of my Subaru and it was the narrowest. I finally broke down and bought a mini-van and even though my baby is almost 7 months, I'm going to shell out the cash for a good old Graco. The handle was getting stuck all the time, and although my husband was able to lube it up, the other problems are still too much to deal with.
