Summary: A fun little radio. I'm using it as a kitchen radio. There's a few things they could improve upon. I don't like the power cord. It's similar to a laptop power cord, where you have the block in between, so it's a mess to keep out of the way and hidden. However, the block keeps a charge going for an hour or so, so if the power goes out you don't lose your stuff. Also, a better FM antenna would have been better. Bluetooth would have been nice too.
Summary: I've been looking for a good bedside radio and this one fits the bill. It's nice and compact, so it doesn't use up the whole table. Reception is excellent. The sound is a little boomy for my taste, but it's somewhat adjustable. My main issue with available radios is that they seem to double as night lights or worse, but this one has a muted display that is dimmable to boot.
Retro design, modern features, works great with Pandora!

Summary: I wanted an iPhone dock that could also serve as my alarm clock for my nightstand. This system fits the bill perfectly. The beige color is very nice and matches with my bedroom. You can't tell from the picture, but the surface is textured, not just flat, so it adds a nice decorative touch. It's compact so takes up little space. The best feature is the remote control that comes with it. You can use the remote to change between iPod, radio and aux.
Summary: I spend well over a year looking for a replacement clock radio to replace my 5 year old Sony Dream Machine with the non functioning CD player. I looked at them all- Tivoli, iHome, Sony, Bose, and every other clock radio, but nothing met my requirements. I wanted an AM and FM radio/iPod player that was small enough to fit on my night stand and actually had a nice enough sound quality that I could use it to listen to music verses just wake me up in the morning.
Summary: The pros: Beautiful retro design and cool case, amber display is just perfect, great sound at low to mid volumes, dimmable lights, works seamlessly with ipod/iphone and charges them (I used iPhone 4) and is high quality. Far better sound than most alarm clock iphone docks. Cons: Alarm sound is pretty annoying. Sure, alarms are always annoying but this sound really grated my nerves. I found the snooze difficult to locate and press in my morning stupor.
Summary: Sounds GREAT for something this size. Adjustable base and treble, deep base, easy to use, excellent build and quality, the snooze bottom is not too terribly close to any button that would turn off the alarm, nice features on the remote unit and it looks awesome. The "alarm" button is fairly close to the snooze and will disarm the alarm if pushed by mistake, but the snooze is right in the middle and fair size, so I think the placement is acceptable.
Summary: I'm happy with the product, I think the sound quality is the best compared with others similars. The only thing I dont like is that the FM step tunning is only impair. I have the radio in a country where some broadcasting station are in pair frequencies. In another brands it's possible to change this, but in this radio I don't know how to do. I wrote to the customer service and the answer wasn't satisfactory. Thats the only thing.
Pros: Audio Quality, Easy To Transport, Great Sound
Summary: I'm a disappointed on this one. The yamaha does have decent sound but once you start cranking it up the the sound distorts badly. You can turn down the bass on the back, but then it sounds like any other cheap radio. Some reviewers compared it to a Bose unit, but this comes up way, way short. Maybe I am expecting too much for a clock radio with only 16 watts of power. for the price I paid, it's probably going back ***Update*** I've changed my mind on.
