Summary: We bought this for our mid-sized kitchen and are quite pleased. The radio has a compact footprint but a larger mellow sound that fills the room nicely. Good reception, and the controls are easy to learn to use. We like the USB port feature to create our own mix of music.
Summary: It's a small unit with good sound, and all of the functions seem to work well. I don't use the iPod option, but I do use an MP3 player with the unit, for which an extra cord is required. Two points: I'm a little disappointed with the CD player.
Summary: It is better than the soundworks that it replaced. Im amazed about the crisp sound for such a small unit, i like the sound better than bose. Im really happy with it. Only minus is no rds or text with songname when playing from usb stick. But the sound is so good so it doesnt bother me much.
Summary: Smaller than I expected , it looks like a big radio but it performs well , the sound quality could it be better for that price , but considering it has a well construction and have i pop connection people would find that they get for what they pay for .
Summary: I use this to charge my iPhone and play music, and it sounds fantastic. This unit sits on my nightstand next to my bed, and the display is easy on the eyes. The controls are not visible in the dark, but I know where the power button, volume control and alarm on buttons are, so it's not a big deal.
Summary: Like a previous yamaha I owned from the 90's the sound for cds is pretty impressive. This one also plays mp3s from cd or USB and the sound is again quite impressive--I would have given this a "5" based on this alone--but the radio is a different matter.
