The audio in jack allows you to plug in portable media players or your PC to enjoy your music libraries from both.
The main component is a slim 20cm. This allows you to fit it in virtually any room. It can run off of the 120V power cord or 2 AA batteries, not included. This system comes with an instruction manual, remote control, AM roop antennae, and FM lead antennae.

The on/off switch red liight is on, but when depressed, the system comes on for about 1/2 second, then shuts down and the red light blinks. Does anyone know the cause and how to reset?

yeah sometimes that happens it could probably too much power from the speakers if you upgraded or the positive wire and the negative are
I've added speakers to this system and it works. But it cuts out at around 15 on the volume and the standby indicator flashes. Is there any way to get around this?

i think just tune on what ever station you like then on the controler you push preset and press
