Summary: Sony Muteki LBT-ZUX9: 1000 Watts of power, NOT the FST 880 wat version... This comes with 4 decent sized speakers, which are good sounding. You can hook up a Powered subwoofer to this stereo, however, it has to be through regular speaker wires in order to work properly, instead of the RCA jacks. NOTE: Don't hook up to all 4 speakers if you decide to hook up a 1000 watt powered subwoofer, it will overload your system.
Summary: This thing really bumps.... You can feel the bass in the confines of your soul. Furthermore, and probably most importantly, if you want to connect this thing to your computer or android phone or whatever, you would have to get a (stereo, red + white) to auxiliary converter or a cable that does just this. This thing is built of fine quality and materials. I haven't blown a speaker yet and I play this thing pretty loud. I definitely recommend this product.
Summary: I took time to go to several stores to try different systems. With each system no matter how innovative or divers the system with the latest capabilities, the only thing that made any difference that was noticeable in the store was the number of watts to the speaker. I tried positions and that was pretty much negligible. So now my mission was to find a mini-stereo that would be a shelf system to replace my poor old 25 year old system that finally bit the dust.
