Summary: In the market for a smaller bookshelf style music system, but you don't want to break your savings? Enter the Sony one here. It's a small shelf system with 50 watts of power, CD, AM/FM, USB, Bluetooth, and NFC.
Excerpt: I bought this product mainly using to run audio from my TV but I soon found out I got a whole more. I can listen to the radio and play CD's but I also paired my iPhone 6 to play my own music. Plus, the powerful sound fills the whole room.
Excerpt: I bought this product mainly to play sound through my TV. But, I can also pair my iPhone 6 and listen to my own music apps or listen to the radio or play CD's. Don't let the size fool you, this Sony music system has quality powerful sound.
Summary: Great value. It has everything I want and a few things I can grow into. LOL The remote is easy to use and program. A couple of things keep it from being 5-star though. First, I thought the speakers were wireless. This not being the case limits where I wanted to put them.
Excerpt: My purpose was to get a system that allowed me to replicate in my apartment the same ease of listening to sound generated by my iPhone via my car's bluetooth sound system. This system gets the job done. If I'm watching Netflix with my computer connected via Bluetooth, there is a 1+ second lag.
Pros: Bluetooth, Easy Controls, Good Sound Quality, Lightweight, Small Space
Summary: The system is compact enough, and easy enough to set up. You cannot see it in any of the photos, but there are no RCA inputs, only a 1/8", which is easy enough to purchase an adapter to use, but also enough to take it down a star.
Summary: Pros - NFC (future proof) - Bluetooth connection produces good sound - Simple to use - Pretty good sound - USB charging port Cons - USB doesn't support Apple products, other than charging the device. - Sony proprietary speaker & antenna connectors which can't be connected to amplified AM/FM antenna.
