Sony RDH-GTk1i

G, Amazon
4 February 2014
  • Summary: Loud and heavy. This machine puts out great sound. I love the USB interface. Fill a jump drive up, plug it in and forget about the music and have fun. The remote is handy for turning up my favorites from across the room. It is big and pretty heavy, it gets left home sometimes for that reason.

Great Unit ... If You Use Other Speakers

Mark Wellman, Amazon
19 July 2013
  • Summary: This is the fifth micro stereo we have owned, two from Philips and three from Sony. We use them in our kitchen and play music on CD's during meals. We seem to wear out the CD players in them in three to five years.

Great iPod Capable Music System

FromTheCouch, Amazon
19 February 2012
  • Summary: We looked around several major chain stores for a reasonably priced shelf stereo system to use on our patio. Our check list was 1) decent power - no scrawny 5 watt clock radio systems, 2) a solid iPod dock that really works and could be fully controlled with the remote control and 3) a decent FM...

Better Than the One Before It

Mark Wellman, Amazon
18 February 2012
  • Summary: This is our third Sony unit like this. We use them in the kitchen, and we wear them out (the CD player) after about four to five years. We also never use the speakers that come with them because we have some mini JBL speakers that sound great.
