Summary: All these reviews are excellent! I love this unit. Purchased it at Sam's club for 149.00. Bought extended warranty for an additional 9.00. It looks awesome and sounds good. Most important factors to know are: It plays USB flash sticks (I have Sandisk 4 and 8 GB sticks at it plays them all no problem. It will not however, play my 32GB Mushkin stick.
Summary: I just love it! it was just what i need it, simple to use and just the basic usb, ipod and radio, with just a few big buttons easy to read. It's portable and very powerful, i would give 5 stars but will give 4 for only one reason, don't have buttons to change folders, you can change the folders only using the remote, that was bad...
Summary: I bought this system while originally looking for a small iPod/iPhone dock. After a lot of research, I decided to go with this because I'm extremely picky about my audio quality, and this seemed to be what I was looking for (it seems like Apple docks are either awful-sounding, or pieces of crap...or both). For the money, this stereo is one of the best I could have asked for.

Summary: Just as another buyer posted in his review (G37x), I too bought my Sony RDH-GTK1i at my local Sam's Club for a mere $149. I must say, you get what you pay for, which truly isn't bad, but it's not superlatively great either. I bought this all-in-one system to replace my old AIWA shelf stereo system that was going on nearly 20 years (my gosh, I can't believe I had that thing for so long!).
Summary: I bought this to replace an old Sony boombox. Its sound is better, not up to higher quality setups, but it didn't cost as much, either. Better speakers may have helped, these are small. At times the unit has a tinny sound to me, even when playing around with the equilizer, which is controlled on the remote, by the way. The FM wire doesn't seem to pick up stations very well even stretched out, I'll need to get a better wire or play around with it more.
Summary: Pros: Great sound quality - goes without saying with the brand name. I compared with Panasonic this is far better than that Affordable Price Cons: iPhone connectivity - it works thought it does mention it is not compatible. It switches it to Airplane mode - I have not tried any further Though the specs says other mp3 players can be connected through USB - there is no USB port for connecting - even [...
Summary: Awesome sounding machine, but i took it back because it was posted cheaper at SAms. Now i cant find one there. Can anyone tell.me Sams serial# for this. They cant look it up by model# thanks .
Summary: The speakers quality is fair, but don't expect loud sounds from them...but overall it's fair for the price and size, although I have it on my living room, it would fit better in a bedroom, referring to the sound.
Summary: This little Sony has some great sound and functions well. The radio reception could be better, only the strongest stations come in. We have not utilized the iPod feature as of yet, but thought we might in the future. The remote is very easy to use and works well even at a distance from the unit. Overall we are very pleased with the unit.
Summary: I purchased this unit as a replacement for an old Sony unit that lasted for 15 years. In summary, I liked the functionality but was disappointed in the iPod plug-in (requires an add-on) and the speakers, which I replaced with the ones from my old unit and immediately improved the sound.
