Great system with Bluetooth

SG, Amazon
29 May 2012
  • Summary: Nice looking compact hi-fi system, that can be linked to a computer for streaming music from your iTunes library via bluetooth, or directly play music from an iPod placed in the socket provided. Good sound for the size. No problem with it.

Amazing for the price!

M. Gauthier-loiselle "Marge", Amazon
11 November 2009
  • Summary: This is a really nice shelf stereo system. A lot of functions, including bluetooth (so you can control it from your computer) and ipod. It looks great and sleek, and is small enough to put almost everywhere. The only downsize of it is that there is no balance control, so you can't choose how you would like the sound to come out of each speaker. I highly recommend it for low budget shopper looking for quality.

Works with all bluetooth.

Michael B. Medley, Amazon
26 September 2009
  • Summary: Works with all Bluetooth cell phones as long as it is A2DP. Just select connect to Bluetooth Stereo Headset on your device that you want to pair with it. I have mine streaming music from my Samsung A727 Cell phone and my Samsung P2 Bluetooth mp3 player. Sony says it only pairs with Sony cell phones and mp3 players but that's a lie. It will pair with any device with the same technology A2DP. This is the only home stereo with this capability that I know of under $600.

Great System for Whole House Audio

Amazon Customer, Amazon
22 May 2009
  • Summary: I ordered this system to be used with a whole house audio system. I'm not using the speakers (so I can't rate the quality) because I have it connected directly to the input of a 12 channel audio amplifier. It works great and sound quality is excellent. In addition to AM/FM, CD and iPod, I also have my TV audio output connected to the 'Audio In' jack, so I can listen to the TV from multiple rooms.

Works for what I want

S. jaouen "Beave", Amazon
12 May 2009
  • Summary: Bought this product 1 month ago, use it to listen to my ipod, stream pandora from computer and phone. Works great, fills the room with good quality music (30x30 room). Only down side, not it's fault, is that you can't bluetooth music from iTunes (I'm a PC). Sometimes Apple chaps my hide! I found it for $130 so look around.

Happy Camper

Ann Fathy, Amazon
27 March 2009
  • Summary: I wanted a compact stereo system with Bluetooth so that I could stream Internet radio music from my laptop to the stereo system. Almost every device I have is Sony, so I always look for Sony first, because I like their products and technical support. I didn't need the i-Pod docking station, but I bought this system anyway because it had what I wanted and I liked the reviews.

Great CMT-BX50BTi Sony Radio

Contactpro, Amazon
26 March 2009
  • Summary: The CMT-BX50BTi was purchased Dec. 2008 as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend at a "volume" outlet (Sorry Amazon) locally. It has proven to be a great move. The unit's speakers and CD drawer eject switch are the only "cons" in my opinion. Oh, a mute button would be nice. The pros are many: Bluetooth pairing with my HTC/Dash smartphone stuffed with 2gig of 192 bit music was a joy to experience. It plays very well and mutes itself when a call comes in.

Good sound...

Closer, Amazon
14 February 2009
  • Summary: I have always been a Sony fan but I really scrutinize my purchases anymore. I looked at several brands before settling on the CMTBX50BTi. I like the size, sound, bluetooth and IPod capabilities. It also has CD player. I know Sony likes the black finish and it looks good but it makes it difficult to see the controls and labels. I also would prefer to have control knobs, especially for the volume.

Great little radio

C. Pipher III, Amazon
25 November 2008
  • Summary: Only reason this is four stars, is believe it or not, this unit does not have a mute button. That is unreal in this day and age. The bluetooth works perfectly, I can stream audio from my laptop and from Sirius radio. This is one way to have sat. radio in the home when an antenna is not possible. For as small as this is the sound is quite good. Very happy with this purchase.
