The CMT-BX20i’s main unit measures 7.87 x 5.19 x 11.73 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 7 pounds while each of the speakers measures in at 5.51 x 9.64 x 8.26 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 4 pounds.
Each of the full-range speakers utilize a 1.6 inch tweeter and a 5.9 inch woofer. The CMT-BX20i has a total power output of 50 watts RMS (25 watts per channel x 2).
With the Sony CMT-BX20i’s integrated iPod dock, users can just plug in their iPod music players and control it using the remote control. The remote, which is powered by 2 AA batteries, features full iPod menu control functions. The front loading CD player has a single-disc capacity and can read CD-DA, CD-R/RW and MP3-CD discs.
At the rear of the main unit is an analog 3.5 mm stereo audio-in port for use with other audio sources. A 3.5 mm headphone is also provided at the front.
