According to this "tech person" that's because of a poor signal. Pure junk

Summary: It's packed up and UPS will pick it up tomorrow. Totally misleading product. Random play is ONLY for a single disc - despite the owner's manual (and initially Sharp tech person I spoke with) - it does NOT play randomly throughout the discs.
Average performing unit with a good set of features for the price

Summary: It is hard to find a multi-CD player nowadays and this seems fully featured at a reasonable price. The CD trays are a bit flimsy and the nose piece to one of the trays fell off, but it went back on fairly easily.
but it has great (big) sound and is perfect for our home

Summary: Bought this for my husband for XMAS. Has everything he wanted, and then some. It's not very compact, but it has great (big) sound and is perfect for our home. Watch out for it resetting itself if there is a power failure - we had the FM radio turning off by itself after 10 minutes, finally figuring...
Summary: The stereo itself offers a good sound quality. However I did find it to be a bit complicated to use. I wish the buttons on the remote and stereo itself were a bit larger and labeled in a larger font. I do have to warn that the FM connector is very easy to break.
Summary: What happened to the days of inexpensive boom boxes? They are still around but they are mostly junk. This one is a bit outdated because it still has a cassette player but it also has an iPod link up. My wife loves music. I'm a musician and she loves it more than I do.
Summary: Great stereo that covers many media (CD, Tape, USB, Ipod, and radio). I think it has quite decent sound. It ended up being a bit larger than I was expecting though. I was looking for a stereo that could play our older tapes, our CD's, as well as a USB drive, and this was one of the few that could do...
Summary: Plug it in. It works. Or at least it turns on. If you need something to play cassettes, then go for this. But if you have any desire to listen to the radio, steer clear. The FM antenna connection is a complete joke - a thin connection that didn't last three months.
