Summary: I ordered a refurbished unit. It came but the power cord didn't connect well with the unit and needed to be fiddled around to make a good connection. Requested the seller for a prepaid shipping label and an exchange. Got both requests met in a prompt fashion (Thank you, guys). Got the replacement, another refurbished unit. Been using it for over a month now and am happy with it. It's sleek and shinny and looks contemporary and stylish.
Summary: The unit I bought was refurb'd, only paid a little over $50 for it. It looks factory fresh, and everything works just as it should. Have one of these players at work as well as a Bose player. The sound quality falls a little short of the Bose, but it is excellent overall. If you use the eq the sound can be tailored to suit just about any situation.
Summary: A little complicated mainly because almost every function has to be done using remote, which means you have to study! who wants to do that to listen to a little music.bought it for the recording feature but only works if you have old orginal I-pod or I-pod nano.have not used as a DVD player yet and probably wont, most likely too complicated.looks OK and sounds good for its size but this is an older out of production unit,if you can find it cheap it has some value.
Summary: I enjoy this product for the combination of features that are important to me in a multifunction product. I've enjoy watching DVDs and listening to CDs . I love the compact size of this unit for my office. I am happy I purchased this product..
Summary: What a deal!!! I bought it for the iPod connection without noticing from the ad that it played DVDs and CD!!! And its Samsung (fantastic quality and reliablility). What an excellent deal! The sound quality is great for the price.
Summary: Bought this as a gift for a family member to replace a shelf system. System is very compact, easy to set up, and the sound is solid for the cost. I would probably buy the next step up in wattage for a little more "oomph" behind the speakers but it's a good system nonetheless. One annoying part is the need to use a TV for the inital setup. Once that's done, though, it took the place of the previous system without any problem.
Summary: Ordered this Samsung Microsystem for a player that would play my Ipod so I could stream music from my internet service. It also filled in for a dvd player that was very old. It was to replace a secondary set up in my bedroom. It seemed to be a nice unit. It isn't a surround sound system or anything that upscale but did ok for what I wanted. It has a few nice features for the money. The sound is just ok, nothing like a Bose radio or hi fi system would do.
