Summary: I've owned the Roku Radio for 19 months. It has changed my fundamental attitudes toward radio in that I now consider radio to be a global broadcast for most stations. As an person who tries to maintain an international perspective (and who has lived in 6 countries for extended periods of time), I...

Summary: As a radio buff I find it wonderful, now that I have the Roku Soundbridge R1000, to be able to listen to stations from around the world without having to sit next to my computer, find the "listen live" button on a website, and start the audio stream.
Summary: The SoundBridge Radio is very easy to set up and has great performance and a good user interface. Using regular radio is straightforward enough, but the performance, ease and availability of Internet radio stations males it almost unnecessary to use broadcast radio.
Summary: The Roku SoundBridge Radio is an excellent alternative to its smaller sibling, the SoundBridge. What you get is a Bose Wavetable style radio piece that performs a wonderful number of functions and is very good at what it is meant to do.
Summary: I am a Hong Kong guy in US. My parents always come to visit me during the Summer. I was using the PC to play the HK radio for them. However, they cannot change the channel cause they do not know how to operate the PC. R1000 just solved my problem.
15 Channels of Classical Music in a Bedside Clock Radio

Summary: I had a specific purpose in buying the radio. I wanted a clock radio with a wide variety of classical music. I have successfully , but laboriously loaded in a great set of stations from around the world.
Summary: This is a great appliance, easy to install, and does everything they say it does. BUT...there are no outputs so it can not be connected to external speakers or to a music system. If it had just two RCA jacks, it would be a fiver for sure.
If you love radio, you will find it hard not to love the SoundBridge Radio

Summary: Update: After two years, my SoundBridge radio began to die with a constant crackling of static, regardless of volume setting. Apparently, I am not the only customer to experience this problem, but the warranty coverage is one year, regardless.
