Summary: We were looking for a bookshelf audio system for our winter home which, if it was stolen during the summer, would not break the bank. We needn't have worried, nobody would seriously consider stealing this thing! The sound is very good but the CD playback stinks and the user interface is 'user hostile'. Not just unfriendly, but actually hostile.
Summary: I always had problems with the CD changer but, I still continued to use it and worked my way around the oddities. I burnt out a circuit about 4 wks ago. Unable to get it repaired until 12/27. I left 2 cds in the cd track and I can't get the CD player to work now that the breaker has been repaired. WARNING:NEVER LEAVE YOUR CDS IN THE CD PLAYER AT ANY TIME AS THEY MAY GET STUCK IN THE CHANGER LIKE MINE. You can't pull them out manually.
Summary: This stereo has wonderful playback and I was surprised how good it sounded because it was so inexpensive. I have loved this stereo and anyone that loves music will enjoy this full-sounding music machine!
Summary: I bought this piece of junk a couple years ago. Had little money at the time and just needed a sound system that I could play in my apartment and hear decent sound...wasn't expecting great, just decent. It eats CD's and skips like crazy. I tried to retrieve a CD that got stuck in it and the front of the tray pulled off. The remote works fine and it's a good thing because the buttons on the unit don't.
Summary: I purchased this item at a big chain electronics store. I set it up and started playing a brand new cd. I tried to skip a track...it wouldn't go to the next track. In fact it looked as if it were cycling through all tracks and the interface just froze up. Oh, I didn't mention that if you increase the volume past a certain point, the thing just quits working. Maybe I had a defective unit, but I wound up taking the thing back within an hour of buying it.
