Philips MCM275

The Philips MCM275 is a micro audio system that features a CD player, a USB player, and an AM/FM radio tuner. The system, composed of the main unit and two speakers, has removable stands so users can use it either as a table-top or wall-mounted audio system. Its main unit measures 7.64 x 10.6 x 3.62 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 4.85 pounds without the included stand. Each of the speakers measures 6.30 x 10.63 x 3.54 inches (W x H x D).

USB Player

The MCM275 can play MP3 and WMA audio files directly from USB devices. It supports a maximum of 99 folders and up to 999 tracks.

CD Player

The Philips MCM275’s CD player can read factory-pressed CDs as well as consumer-burned CD-R and CD-RW media. It also reads MP3 and WMA encoded discs.

Radio Tuner

The MCM275’s AM/FM radio tuner has a tuning frequency range of 87.5 MHz-108 MHz for FM and 530 kHz-1,700 kHz for AM. It allows users to preset up to 32 stations. The system comes with an indoor FM antenna and an AM loop antenna.

Speaker System

The Philips MCM275 comes with two 5-watt stereo speakers giving it a total output power of 10 watts. It has a signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) of 75dB and a frequency response of 50Hz to 20kHz.

The MCM275 is equipped with Dynamic Bass Boost allowing its users to enjoy consistent bass levels even when the volume is kept low. The system offers Digital Sound Control with Jazz, Rock, Pop, and Classic presets.
