Summary: Not exactly iPhone ready. You will need an adapter to plug your iPhone into this thing. It is also a little annoying that it charges the phone when you connect it to the port. I've always been told that it's not good for the battery to charge it when it's only half empty. So I always feel like I'm contributing to the death of my phone when I plug this thing in to listen to music. I find myself only using it when my phone is dead. That wasn't my intention.
Summary: I set-up this audio system inside my 14 x 20 family room. I didn't really like a big sound system. I couldn't say that I'm an audiophile. I just want to make sure it had those crisp high frequency and low base sounds for me to enjoy a bit of Frank Sinatra or the Eagles.
Summary: Very stylish and well made. Good sound. Would certainly recommend. If you plug your iPod or iPhone (model 4s or earlier) for music, it charges the phone while it is plugged in. One quibble, you can't select radio stations at will. The SC-HC37 automatically programs stations and assigns them program numbers. In order to listen to a station you must scroll through the list until you hear the station.
Summary: I ordered the 10 watt SC-HC27 model but returned it because of sound quality. It ordered this 40 watt model to replace it and I am very satisfied with it. This is NOT serious audiofile equipment but for everyday use with our open floor plan - living room-dining room-kitchen - it sounds just fine. My wife loves the remote feature. Loading CDs is easy and it looks great with the new (modern) furnature we bought. It takes up very little space and is wall mountable.
Summary: I like how does it sounds, its fit prefectly in my living room because of its compact and estetic design. It would be even better (5 stars) if it had more conectivity options like aux, usb, etc. but its ok.
Smaller than expected, but good things come in small pkgs!

Summary: I was a little stunned when I saw the size of the box this product came in. I thought, well, maybe it opens up further once you get it unpacked? No. So, I was a little skeptical. In fact, I almost didn't even open up the box. I thought maybe I was taken for a ride and should just return it on the spot. But, I'm glad I didn't. This is essentially one of those items you can unpack, set up and have running within minutes. Maybe even moments.
Summary: This unit has has a nice variety of functions and some pretty good sound, with a fair set of EQ settings to taylor the sound to your preferences. The sound is somewhat mid-focused and spacious. Though the bass is not the tightest and fastest, and is a bit boomy... and... the sliding door / case has some vibrations / resonances in it at certain frequencies and volumes. So, if you're a bit obsessive about your sound quality, you may want to look elsewhere.
