Summary: I had high hopes for this system....But this is not compatible with I-Pod Basic. Despite 3 calls to Panasonic who first told me to use an adaptor, which is a silly suggestion since an adaptor is used for the new smaller I-Pods, then told me I had to update my I-Pod Basic to the newest software versions, which I had already done (Even went so far as to go to the local I-Pod/I-Mac dealership who verified that I had the latest software).
Summary: this audio system only supports apple's ipod...why...I have android...where is the aux ? Returned item..Panasonic should not only support apple-ipod I wanted to listen to music on my MP3 and Galaxy 111 ..
Summary: I realized, after buying this unit, that I should have done more research, and that electronics are not all as compatible as I had hoped and assumed. This unit has no aux-in and only has an Ipod dock, so I can't use my non-apple mp3 player. I tried getting an input adapter hoping I could use that to hook up my mp3 player to the ipod dock, but after many minutes of 'checking connection' I get the message 'not supported', though it would charge.
Summary: Product arrived 14th February. Radio took over 20 mins to find stations and play. Assumed this was arial reception so bought Philex DAB arial this took 12 days to arrive. Attached new arial. Reception on radio still the same. Contacted Panasonic who arranged to repair it (would have returned it but over 21days). Repair centre said that it required a new part and this would not be available until 18th April.
