Summary: Pros: Great sounding stereo system especially for medium to large rooms such as a master bedroom or family room: equivalent to Bose in quality and clarity of sound Amazed at the sound (volume, quality) for such a compact unit Custom sound setting: treble, bass, pre-sets and surround CD player plays MP3 Stylish Clock radio and sleep timer Excellent value for the price!
Summary: I needed a small CD player to fit on a bookshelf. This one is perfect and has a great sound for its size. This model also has a jack for an auxiliary input which is great so we can use my Android phone and play the music files I have on my phone. I don't have an IPOD player, but it's nice to have the option for later. Great purchase!
Summary: I bought this for background classical music while reading in bed. In addition to being compact and attractive, the sound and clarity of the system knocked my socks off. As folks say back where I come from, "it don't get no better than that." So good in fact that I'm going to order another one for my office.
Summary: I love this product. I was looking for an inexpensive stereo for the reception room of my lawyer office. Because of its high visibility, it was mandatory that it didn't look cheap. I was surprised to receive a very light box from Amazon, I expected this product to be heavier. The stereo looks very stylish and sophisticated, it compliments the interior decor of my office. The sound is surprisingly good for this price range.
Summary: I purchased this stereo for my office at work. I like its small footprint, as I don't have a great deal of space. I also like that it plays both cd's and an ipod. I have an older ipod nano, and it fit just fine without needing any kind of adapter. I also like that it has both AM and FM radio, which is getting harder and harder to find. Best of all, it sounds fantastic! I've had a number of people come in to my office and comment on how good the system sounds. I love it!
Summary: I am setting up an art studio and needed a small unit to be able to provide backgroud music as I work. I have a Bose in my home and love its sound but the cost was prohibitive for this purpose. After doing alot of research and reading of reviews, I settled on this Panasonic SC-HC35. The unit was on a special price and had good reviews over all. I would prefer a unit that can handle more than one CD at a time but the cost on those was too high as well.
Summary: I have had a couple of cheap "boom boxes" that I've used in my workshop to keep me entertained with radio and CD music. However the sound has been uninspiring and the durability a disappointment. This unit has an inviting full sound that is a great step up from the $35 boxes, and seems very much worth the investment. I like the front access for CD and IPOD and the remote is handy. Can't guess what the long term reliability will be like, but we're off to a great start.
