Summary: The sound system is great. The quality is good and it fits in well my the bedroom. I was actually considering a Bose system until I came across this one. The only drawback for me is that the FM antenna could be more powerful for reception. It has been a little over a month now and I have no regrets. Thinking on buying a second one...
Summary: I use this in my room, which isn't big. Sound is great tho and it looks sweet in the corner. It plays from my iphone 4 no problem. Only thing that annoys me is the "ipod charging" that keeps flashing when you turn the system off at night. Somehow with all the lights out, that little bit of flash penetrates your eyelids. But it's easy enough to cover it. Would have been great to have a tiny ipod icon that shows it charging without having to flash it in bold letters.
Summary: This is a good product. I use it in my kitchen as an ipod charger and a stereo. The music quality is quite good and the remote works very well. The only thing I don't like is the quality of the tuners, expecially the AM tuner. People actually do listen to AM stations so if you're going to include one, you should make it qualitative. I use the Ipod to listen to FM station streaming all over the country. I'm happy with this unit.
Summary: Received stereo in good shape. I haven't tried the IPOD connection, as I don't have that brand. I'll be using the Auxillary IN port, which is unfortunately on the back. The front is as sleek as the photo. The door to open for CD/IPOD access works smoothly. The tuner is good, the R/C is good. I'll say this so far - the sound quality is pretty good, but not audiophile level. It can handle high levels, though I'll rarely do that.
Summary: i have had this for about a month now, as everyone here agrees, it looks really good and has a good sound quality for the price. however, there are a few minor annoyances that i noticed 1. When playing a MP3 CD, if you stop it and play it again, it starts from the first song. 2.
Summary: I was looking for an iPod dock that would also have a CD player and FM tuner. It does it all, plus I can plug my PC via the aux input, which is helpful to me considering the tiny sound I get on my laptop. The only thing you don't get is a USB key input, but it doesn't bother me at all. I like the flat, neat look. Very convenient, you have a set of buttons on the top, letting you select the source, skip or change volume.
Summary: I love the stylish looks of this CD player, especially after seeing all the other clunky offerings out there...but it was the sound that sold me. CD, radio, and iPod/iPhone player. Four stars instead of five only because I've had it just a few months, but I hope it works well for a long, long time. Very nice!
Summary: I purchased this system for July 4th 2010. I have been using every day since then and love it. It looks great and sounds fantastic. It is excellent for the inside. If you have a large yard and a big party the volume is not enough, the HC40 might be better.
Summary: I bought this to replace a JBL OnStage iPod dock speaker that was malfunctioning. Today's bookshelf stereos like this one, that include iPod docks, make it totally unnecessary to buy a unit that can *only* function as a speaker for your iPod. This unit is quite thin--thin enough that it can be mounted on a wall and not look weird. It does include wall mounting hardware. In spite of this, it produces satisfactory sound; output is around 30w per channel.
