Panasonic SC-HC30DBEBS DAB Micro System with iPod Dock

Excerpt: I bought this particular Panasonic mini–stereo/Music player because I was fed up with listening to songs through my laptop computer speakers. Not which my speakers tend to be so bad, they are not (I have a Macintosh - will evaluate it later), but there’s simply no comparison in between …
Summary: I read reviews for this product which faulted the sliding door and iPod's tendency to cut out in the middle of a tune and thought I'd give it a try anyway because I was primarily interested in the FM radio function and liked the slim profile.
Summary: The sound system is great. The quality is good and it fits in well my the bedroom. I was actually considering a Bose system until I came across this one. The only drawback for me is that the FM antenna could be more powerful for reception. It has been a little over a month now and I have no regrets.
Summary: First, this is a review of the SC-HC35, which they sent instead of the SC-HC30. I assume it's a newer model, but it looks the same. Anyways, the system runs just fine, sound is good. FM radio is good. However, part of the reason I was getting this was to use it as a clock radio/CD alarm.
Summary: I actually gave a way a mini (but not micro) 5 cd system and I have an I pod player.... but I have hundreds of CD's and had no fm radio. I did not want something that took up a lot of space but sounded good for the money.
Summary: This stereo is great for the low price. Of course it does not sound as good as a $1,000 surround system that's 20 times the size, but that should not be expected. For such a small system, it sounds pretty good. It is very, very small and gives all the control you need over the ipod.
