Summary: Positive: The unit does everythign that it was advertized to do. The sound quality is much better that the 8 year-old Panasonic it is replacing, and the total package size is actually smaller. The programmable radio buttons are also a 'plus'. Negative: I would have rated it 100% but it does not have a repeat/replay feature that the older Panasonic had.
GREAT sound....just doesn't play off of an mp3 player itself

Summary: GREAT product, GREAT sound quality, and the seller wasted ZERO time shipping this to me.....I got it the VERY next day!! SHOCKED THE HELL outta me! So, lemme get the "BAD" out of the way first: Although I knew this was a used product, I didn't expect that the seller would send me a physically damaged unit, but there was a piece broken off on the upper right corner of the unit. Did it affect the sound quality at all? NOPE!
Summary: I already own a HC55 and looking for another one for another room. I bought a lower model (HC-25) because I only use CD and radio so I don't really need any fancy Ipod function. I still like the look of HC55 better because it is more sleek looking and more intergrated look. The 25 model is a little chunkier looking but still very compact. I thought HC25 has better sound quality than HC55 when I am listening with CDs and radio. Radio set up is extremely painful.
Summary: When I looked at the Panasonic SC-HC25 Compact Stereo System, it looked cool and the reviews were quite good. I was a little worried and hesitant about purchasing this item because I have never bought something like this online. But I was wrong its way better than the old little iPod player I had! The sound is good (for my taste and Im picky when it comes to sound!) there are all these options you can choose from like bass, sound quality etc.
Summary: The unit has good sound quality, classy appearance, and is easy to use. One issue was finding the I-pod docking adapter that is suggested in the instructions. The Panasonic customer dis-service center was of little help until finally the 5th person I talked to said it had to be purchased at an Apple Store.
Summary: When my old Sony CD Player/Clock/Radio finally died I wanted a replacement CD Player compact enough to fit in a specific corner on the kitchen counter, with simple controls and good sound quality. The Panasonic SC-HC25 meets these requirements very well. I use it exclusively to play CD's as I have flourescent lights over the kitchen cabinets and LED can lights over the counters, in a Florida house under a metal roof, so radio reception is nil.
