Summary: I purchased the Panasonic model HC25 and after 4 months, my iPod dock no longer worked. Also the sound was poor and the lower registers seem to loose clarity. I returned the system to Panasonic, at my expense, and Panasonic sent a replacementl back to me (reconditioned) and the unit wouldn't turn on. So, I contacted Panasonic and they sent out a replacement once again - this time a cheaper model with poor reviews. Anyway, I won't be buying any more Panasonic electronics.
Summary: The sound was waaaay muffled. I read a review about that, and I thought people were being too picky. I saw decent reviews overwhelming the bad, so I went with it. The set up was very easy, but the sound was terrible. We are not high-maintance people, and rarely listen to music. I simply bought it for our deck or whatever. Don't bother. We played it once, and put it right back in the box.
If you update your iPod software, it stops working.

Summary: It's a great unit. It has great sound quality, especially for the size and price. The AM and FM both work well, as does the CD player. The problem is the iPod dock. I recently updated the software on my second generation iPod touch, as one does when syncing. Now the unit does not recognize it, and I cannot play my music or podcasts. I contacted tech support, and they said that there was nothing to be done.
