Summary: Mine was DOA. CD player made all kinds of grunts and whining noises, then just refused play CD's. Seemed pretty cheaply constructed, like even if it did work, it wouldn't last long. What little sound I heard out of the unit was sort of lame.
Summary: A dynamic little system for a small room. I plugged in a Boston Acoustics sub but it has great base without it. It shines with big music productions (Sarah Brightman) and performs like a much larger system. You won't be disappointed with the sharp, clear sound with no noise form the CD operation.
Summary: remote stopped working after just 5 months.... looking for contact info for onkio, and can't seem to find a way to contact them. looks like the only thing to do is send the remote to an authorized service center? i would think onkio could just swap the remote out.
Summary: After 2 years of light use it is completely broken. Out of the blue. Just turned it on one day and it could not read any CDs. Stuck at "CD Reading". I noticed that it does not spin the CDs at all (based on the disk position when I insert the CD and after I eject it - same exact position).
Summary: This unit has great sound, seems well made and is easy to operate. It has all the features we wanted for my son's first system. Unfortunately, we are on our second unit and it does not function correctly. The first one had a channel out on one side - so the speaker didn't work.
Summary: I bought this stereo in January 2012 and am still very happy with my purchase. Sound quality is good, the system is very sturdy and not at all cheap feeling. I can hear my music throughout my entire two-bedroom apartment.
