Summary: I have music on a flash drive and each time I begin playing it again after stopping it, it reverts back to the beginning and I have to listen to the same music I had just finished playing. It's difficult to figure out how to go to the different play lists on the flash drive. Hopefully I'll work it out but right now, not pleased at all with this part of the system.
Excerpt: Everything works great. I think the audio is pretty solid. Good output. Perfect for a home office. Bluetooth works really really well. Easy set up. We hooked it up to a multi-cd player and work seemlessly. The only problem we have is our cat likes to sit up there and often turns off the power. Don't buy, if have a heat seeking cat.
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy Controls, Easy To Set Up, Great Sound
Summary: I've been listening to this system for a couple of days now, and I'm really pleased with my purchase. The build quality is excellent, and the sound fills my living room nicely. The bass isn't boomy, and music sounds clear, detailed and natural. ( although to be honest, I routinely listen at lower volume levels and never drive speakers too hard).
Summary: I hooked the equipment up to a speaker system and tried out 3-4 original compact discs. After a total of 4 songs, the CD player stopped working with a "NO DISC" error and whatever I tried from un-plugging, resetting to calling the tech support, it didn't help. I find it hard to believe, I'm the only one on the internet having this type of bad luck. There was no visible damage to the packaging.
Summary: Handsome unit which works great with Apple products. I had hoped to install bluetooth on my computer and stream music from my computer to the Onkyo system. However, the Onkyo unit is ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH iPod/iPhone/Mac. When I asked customer service about the bluetooth compatibility, they simply said: "Sorry. We don't have a list of what bluetooth protocols it interfaces with." Really?!
Summary: This version was bought in late 2013. Although it isn't listed as such, I found that it is compatible with the iPhone 5 (at least running iOS6, I didn't upgrade to iOS7), and behaves the same as older iPod and iPhone control. The unit has a nice, clean look, with the USB port on the front for iDevice connection rather than a specific dock (which is a good thing I think). Set-up was a piece of cake for radio stations, time etc.
Summary: This all in 1 system replaced my previous 2 piece system. I didn't need the speakers that came with it but that's how it's sold. The sound is good. It suits my needs & is compact. It has preset station features & can be used with bluetooth.
