Summary: The sound is excellent: strong bass, good mid-range and trebles. The UI is limited by what the iPod allows, so if you allow the iPod to lock, the remote with the NAD won't be able to start it playing again until you wake up the iPod from its own screen.
Summary: I have a separate NAD power amp and pre-amp for my main home stereo - so I am familiar and generally pleased with the sonic attributes of their products - these drive Martin Logan speakers. The NAD VISO 1 is a well made product and for the price, its a great bargain.
Pros: Well constructed, attractive package with easy interface. Decent - or very good - sound reproduction in a small form factor. Overall high quality.
Cons: Mediocre remote - almost an after thought - NAD should have spent a couple more hours of time designing this element.
Summary: sound was amazing for a unit opt this Sound was amazing for a unit of this size and price. Bass was terrific. Plenty of volume. Exceptional value. The only reason I brave it a 4 star rating rather than a 5 star was because I could not get my older I-pod to work with the speaker.
Summary: I was looking for the best product within this price range. I looked at every product that I could find within my budget including reading several reviews.. The NAD Viso 1 fit the criteria and met my expectations.
Pros: The performance for the price is very good. I was very pleased with the bass extension for a product this size. My other concern was how well it would fill a 19 ft x 15 ft room. The Viso did not disappoint..
Cons: I wished the product had Airplay capability. This is the only reason why I did not give it a 5 star rating..
