The Marantz M-CR603 is a network CD receiver that that can be used as a dedicated listening station or as the hub of a multi-room, high-performance audio system. It is an IP-based device that features 100-watt digital amplifier and receiver. The unit features a CD player and AM/FM Radio, provides users with access to thousands of Internet radio stations, and allows for streaming of popular music services Rhapsody, Napster and Pandora. Users enjoy playback of CDs and CD-R/RW discs, as well as MP3 and WMA, with a USB interface for audio playback, stereo FM and AM. The unit also features front-panel button layout with powered multi-room operation and sound tuning function for selected speaker system via digital filters.

The Marantz M-CR603 is an IP-based and IP addressable network CD player that provides users with the ability to connect to a home network for streaming and multi-room distribution. It can be used as a zone player for users who already have a receiver-based home theater system in their family room, and lets them control different zones of audio throughout the home. The unit also features a variety of inputs and outputs, with the option for Biamplification, which allows for system expansion, including the addition of a subwoofer. Other features include a front panel USB input for iPod® connectivity, allows users to utilize the unit as a D/A converter for downloaded music on a PC and streaming through a home audio system and a glossy black chassis.
