Summary: It's a great device for podcasts. Not so much for music though. I've used it for years. Alas, now that I no longer have any Windows XP machine in the house, I can't use it anymore. It worked fine with iTunes 7.7.1 (I set it for no updates).
Summary: The shabbiness of this product has prompted me to write my first Amazon product review. I would rate this product no stars if I could. I do not recommend the Logitech Wireless DJ to anyone. I am not an 'audiophile', but I can tell you that this product is way over-priced for what it does.
Summary: The Logitech Wireless DJ Music System delivers as promised, streaming music from my PC to my stereo system located clear across the house. Sound quality is good, though I find that I have to keep the handset off the cradle when the music is playing or the music starts to skip.
Summary: For $100, this system is just what I was looking for. Easy to setup, sound quality is fine (I'm not an audiophile), and wireless remote reaches all around my house. There are some constraints to the system (transmitter maxes at around 100 feet, not great UI & navigation on the remote, skips every so...
Summary: I received and installed the Wireless DJ today. My first challenge was that my computer runs Vista, and the version of Streampoint software included in the package wouldn't install. Luckily, the Logitech website had an updated version. Once I downloaded it, the new version installed easily.
Summary: I have had this unit for about a month and I have not had an issue with wireless interruption like other users have commented on even though I have a wireless network running on the same frequency (although I think it could happen).
Summary: This system is great in some respects. It's fun to be able to use the remote to access all that music on your PC (I have around 6,000 songs) via artist name, song title, album name, and/or genre, and play it on your stereo.
