Summary: I have used this now for sometime and cannot speak highly enough about it. I use it to connect to my PC and the big thing I like is the remote shows all your songs and you can scroll through them on-screen. Hence I really never need to go to my PC and can play any song or playlist from literally any room in the house.
Summary: My Dad gave me this after he found it wasn't the solution he was looking for. With nothing to lose I hooked it up to my stereo from college that I haven't used much in the main room next to my basement office. I found the software was not compatible with my system (Win7 x64) and saw on the box it's designed for WinXP. I went to the Logitech website, looked up the product and downloaded the Vista x64 version.
Summary: The shabbiness of this product has prompted me to write my first Amazon product review. I would rate this product no stars if I could. I do not recommend the Logitech Wireless DJ to anyone. I am not an 'audiophile', but I can tell you that this product is way over-priced for what it does. The sound quality is horrible.
Logitech has abandoned support for the Wireless DJ - Buyers beware!

Summary: I have owned this system plus an extra receiver for a few years, and I paid top dollar for it at the time. At first I thought it was the holy grail as I was wanting to stream Internet radio to other rooms in my house. For this it works OK using the "stream all sounds" setting. All along the Streampoint software has been very buggy with frequent crashes and losing connection with the room receivers.
Summary: I was looking for something to stream my mp3s to my home stereo so I went to Best Buy to see what they had. The associate that helped me pointed me to this device. For $50 I could not pass it up. I bought it in November of 2007 and I had to replace the unit twice, about a year apart each time, but it was under the warranty fortunately.
Summary: I REALLY wanted to like this thing, but it just doesn't work. It's frequency doesn't transmit through people, so when you throw a party, it just stops working. I wish I got the squeezebox because that thing will at least work over 802.11, but at four times the price, you really have to ask yourself if it's worth it.

Summary: It doesn't get much easier than this. My real rating is a 3.75. I was looking for a simple (wireless) connection from my PC to my stereo for playing music/playlists. I had tried Apple's AirExpress and others with little/no luck. Pros: Easy set-up. VERY nice, comprehensive control of the iPod functions from the remote (including ability to see the song names in the playlists). Audio quality is pretty darn good.
Summary: Logitech wireless DJ music system makes playing your music collection stored on your pc a breeze. You can search by artist name, album, genre, all by turning the wheel on the center of the remote. The screen is easy to read and makes creating a playlist very easy. The songs boot up very quickly and the sound quality is great. Makes parties fun because guests can look through your library and add to your song list. A definite must for those with a large music collection.
