Summary: Pros: From a the price point, you will be hard to find a better device. Ability to view album art, support all major compressed and lossless file formats, USB and storage card support for the internal server software (may run sort slower than a seperate computer server) Cons: None, this unit can run its own built-in server software so no need for a computer I have used three different models of the squeezebox line and each have been nothing but a pleasent suprise to own.
Summary: This is a one of a kind product. The sound quality is excellent. It gave a new lease of life to my 6 year old audio system and I am confident I can upgrade any time to a higher setup and this unit will not fail me. There are ways with which one can customize it for even better sound quality. An audiophile's dream come true. Why logitech discontinued it , is a mystery. Perhaps they have something up their sleeve which is even better.

Summary: For those who love varieties of high quality music, this is awesome. It has unfortunately been discontinued from LOGITECH's line of products, so beware of limited warranty/support periods. LOGITECH does state that it will be supported for the foreseeable future. I would have highly recommended this device without reservation prior to its discontinuance. It's great. I wish they'd continue manufacturing it. They are making a mistake IMHO.
Summary: I'll keep a long ongoing story short and say that I am currently in the process of upgrading/building a true yet economical hi-fi system. I was considering buying a high end cd player. A cd player's quality is basically in its DAC (digital to analog converter) and most quality cd players currently run $400 +. I was perfectly willing to go up to $1000 until I started learning about wi-fi streamers and servers.
Summary: it seems that I spend a lot more time at home lately listening to a variety of music from different internet radio stations as well as from my music server (i-tunes)so much music so little time.I'm on my third SBT one for every room in my house, you can listen to them all at once by syncing with one another and enjoy the same song in every room in your house,or you can listen to a different song in every room in your house, my favorite internet radio (last.fm) la-X and...
Summary: I just got my touch and it's fantastic. I'm amazed at the level of sound quality. When I do an A/B test against my $600 CD player it is very difficult to tell any difference in sound quality (disclosure - I added a linear power supply and have high-end interconnects). I previously owned a Squeezebox 3 and I am stunned at how much better the sound is from the Touch.
Summary: The Squeezebox Touch works perfectly right out of the box with silly-easy setup. I have been using it for a few hours with Rhapsody music streaming service. Control the tunes from anywhere using your phone & the Squeezebox app. that rocks...literally! Love that. I've always found Logitech products to work straightaway out of the box and that means a lot these days. So many things don't work as advertise but the Squeezebox Touch isn't one of them. It works great.
