Logitech blew it on this one ... great product
4 February 2013
Summary: The Logitech Squeezebox Touch is a fantastic music streaming solution for those who can set it up properly. I understand that it isn't as easy to set up as a toaster or simple AM/FM radio, and perhaps Logitech was fielding a lot of support calls from buyers who couldn't comprehend how to set this up properly. But after trying a few wireless streaming devices, I am sure that there isn't a better or more capable wireless streaming device available.
Summary: One star for Logitech discontinuing this once awesome product and to warn others not to pay the extremely high prices now being asked for a product that has already been buried. These prices that some people are paying affirm that those at Logitech behind the decision to cancel this line are just hacks.
Summary: Pros: From a the price point, you will be hard to find a better device. Ability to view album art, support all major compressed and lossless file formats, USB and storage card support for the internal server software (may run sort slower than a seperate computer server) Cons: None, this unit can run its own built-in server software so no need for a computer I have used three different models of the squeezebox line and each have been nothing but a pleasent suprise to own.
Summary: This is a one of a kind product. The sound quality is excellent. It gave a new lease of life to my 6 year old audio system and I am confident I can upgrade any time to a higher setup and this unit will not fail me. There are ways with which one can customize it for even better sound quality. An audiophile's dream come true. Why logitech discontinued it , is a mystery. Perhaps they have something up their sleeve which is even better.
Best audio device for comprehensive music/entertainment

Summary: For those who love varieties of high quality music, this is awesome. It has unfortunately been discontinued from LOGITECH's line of products, so beware of limited warranty/support periods. LOGITECH does state that it will be supported for the foreseeable future. I would have highly recommended this device without reservation prior to its discontinuance. It's great. I wish they'd continue manufacturing it. They are making a mistake IMHO.
Summary: after owning the touch for over a year I found that when it works it's great-no more fiddling with cd's-just set my favorites and play. Unfortunately, many times your ready for some tunes and the logitech touch has reprogramed itself-lost your favorites list-needs to go through a 10 minute reboot-or just won't play. It makes a nice clock for your shelf though since it does seem to manage to always find the time.
Summary: ***Edit Jan 9 2013***** Amazing product worth every penny, but unfortunately discontinued by logitech. Current price at Amazon tempt owners to sell :-) ************************** Received my Squeezebox touch Yesterday. As my Squeezebox server was ready on the day I ordered SB touch, it was matter of minutes to connect it and running. It took only about 5-10 minutes to configure network and make it up and running. Initial Impressions. 1.
Summary: After much research, I decided to take a chance and ordered this item. It arrived promptly, in impeccable condition. Set up was a breeze. Internet radio option is outstanding. I did not use the home streaming feature (see below). I bought this to be used mainly as a media player of FLAC files from external portable HD (portable drive needs it's own power source). The media server on the device itself has poor implementation.
