Summary: I purchased this stereo over a year ago because it looks very nostalgic, plays records, and it had a good sound. It worked great for a little over a year but when Christmas came, and I tried to play CD's, the CD player didn't open. I had two CDs in the CD player and I had to take the entire CD player apart in order to get my CDs. The CD player plays the CDs but the mechanism to open the compartment no longer works, so that doesn't help matters at all.
Summary: I've mostly used this to play records, which is nice. I also bought a USB turntable, but I've only been using that for digitizing records. Most times, I just want to listen to them in my living room. The cabinet matches nicely with my furniture, and my kids think it looks really cool. It would be nice if this had inputs/outputs to attach external speakers, or even output to a computer, but I can't fault it for that.
Summary: this product looks great it sounds nice but the c.d. player sucks, I already spend 17 dollars with shipping on a new needle that it didn't come with. I called to get it replaced at no charge the company laughed and denied my help. anyways the product is great its a shame you really cant use the c.d. player much. also the radio doesn't tune as well as i wanted it to. overall the nostalgic is what you get when you get ripped off.
Summary: This is an overall good product. And to get all these features in one little package for this price its hard to expect perfection. My only complaint was that the plastic window on the tape deck is coming off, its just a stick-on.
Summary: I love it! I have an huge collection of the 'old records' and it is difficult to find an easy way to play them. This is perfect for me - does not take up alot of space and looks & sounds great.
Summary: It offers more applications at almost half the price offered in any of the many mail-order catalogs we recieve. Triple CD player is a real plus. My primary use is making copies on CD's from old 33 1/3 via my computer. I have copied over 80 so far and have approx 100-120 yet to copy. I am getting exceptional clarity from some very old records which have been somewhat abused.
Summary: As they say, you get what you pay for. Want to know why this is so inexpensive? Because it is a totally worthless record player, which will damage your precious vinyl and which moves at an irregular speed making your vinyl sound bad. If you don't care about the turntable, then the rest is JUST OKAY. If you want it only for a display piece, then I suppose it's nice looking. I would not recommend it, however.
