We use this for multiple functions: TV speakers, home stereo tuner/receiver, cd , ipod, usb flash drive audio and computer speakers. With some simple audio wiring we can change the input device with one touch on the remote. One drawback is the speaker hum when using audio input cables, but this was corrected by adding a ground loop isolator ($ 5). The speakers are not high end, but we don't blast the sound.

my mother bought this system so she could have her music and radio in the living room. getting some of the AM stations she listens to (mainly AM 740 here in Southern Ontario Canada)is a real pain... my current solution to even get the station to come in is to wrap the wire around the square of the AM antenna, and place it a foot away from the speaker... its not perfect but it works, aslong as no one touches or moves the antenna... thoughts or suggestions?
