New iteration ... same great sound but with same shortcomings as previous versions

Summary: New version, big price hike, same wonderful deep bass and clear treble, same sleek design, same shortcomings. Especially all the complaints about omitting a battery. But I have some comments about that, since I also own the previous 30-pin iPod model: As to battery power (and why H-K did not include rechargeable battery) here are several thoughts: - Do you realize how heavy this would be with such a battery built-in? Yeah, as heavy as it is with 8 "D" cells now.
Summary: This is my second HK Go & Play. I bought the original version probably 4 years ago and have loved it. As the Bluetooth speakers started coming out, especially the BOSE, I really wanted that option. It's tough forking out the cash for this thing as it's not cheap, but the sound makes it worth while. I listen to a LOT of music and consider myself an audiophile. I have been very impressed with the depth and tone this thing delivers. Just like the original.
Summary: Best sound, very cool style. The power of bass and treble is incredible. For those who wanna pay higher prices for excellent quality and style. What's not so good is that it doesn't come with a rechargeable battery, you have to use your own batteries. And also it's weight, it's a little bit heavy but it's handle makes it still easily portable.
