The GPX HC208B home music system from US-based Digital Products International features a vertical loading CD player and an AM/FM radio tuner in a stylish package. The GPX HC208B, composed of the main unit and two speakers, has removable stands so users can use it either as a table-top or wall-mounted audio system.

The standard package of the GPX HC208B includes a full-featured infrared remote control and the removable stands. With the stand, the main unit measures 4.0 x 9.0 x 7.1 inches (W x H x D) while each speaker measures 4.0 x 9.0 x 5.0 inches (W x H x D).

The GPX HC208B’s vertical loading CD player has a single disc capacity. The player, which has a motorized CD door, can read factory-pressed CDs as well as consumer-burned CD-R and CD-RW media. The HC208B offers program play, random play, one track repeat, and all tracks repeat playback modes. Its program play feature has a maximum capacity of 20 tracks.

This system’s AM/FM radio tuner has digital readout via the multi-function LCD display. The blue backlit display also shows the current track number of the CD being played.

Apart from the two RCA phono jacks to connect with the stereo speakers, the GPX HC208B offers a standard 3.5 mm auxiliary input jack for other audio sources such as a portable media player or a personal computer. It also has a 3.5-mm mini-phone stereo jack for headphones.

The HC208B has a digital clock with sleep timer functions.
