  • Summary: This system works fine for my 8-yr old for bedtime. The sound quality is subpar, but works for nature sounds at night.

Absolutely a total waste of time and money!

  • Summary: This was received packed well, but the box the device came in was beat up, used, and torn. The remote that was supposed to included was missing, as was the original packaging materials. This had obviously been used and repacked, as it had an older FedEx sticker still on it, with hair from somebody. No one should ever have to pay for this kind of crap. Not only was it used, it was useless from the beginning.

  • Summary: Seemed like a good product but when it came the remote did not work. That is the main reason I picked this product. I was not able to wait to order another one so had to return it and purchase a different model they had in the store that cost almost twice as much.

  • Summary: I am thrilled with this product (for the price). The MP3 input provides exactly what I need. I could not find a CD player that would *reliably* play computer-burned MP3 disks for under $100.00. However, I have a Coby personal model (also purchased at WalMart.com) that plays them perfectly. Problem solved: Just hook up the headphone jack of my Coby to the MP3 input (using the cable provided) and I'm in business!

  • Summary: This radio has a very similar sound as the ones I used at the beach in the 80's. I was looking for something along these lines that I could play my iPod through but was inexpensive. This fits the bill perfectly. The bass is nonexistant, but the highs and mids are not bad. Overall, I'm happy with this and would recommend this to anyone looking for a simple, no nonsense radio.

  • Summary: I chose this boombox because of the remote control, but the control doesn't adjust volume or turn the unit on/off. The sound is ok, but I don't like the humming sound it makes when it is on pause/stop. I wish there were more boomboxes (at affordable prices) with remote control with complete features. Overall, considering the good price, I am somewhat satisfied with it.

  • Summary: I am older and have used a boom box for years for background music around the house. This is a replacement for one that had simply worn out after a long use. It is not used for loud playing, but I tried it fairly loud when I got it and it was still clear. It is easy to operate and change CD's. I am pleased with this product: GPX BCD2306DP.

  • Summary: I bought this radio for my son (10 ) mainly because it stated that it plays MP3 players. Also, I like the sleek, Modern look of it. However, the radio has VERY POOR Sound quality. We have to turn the radio up loud just to hear it. When the radio is off, but not unplugged, it has an annoying humming noise. We have to unplug the radio, to stop the humming. Also, when it plays, it has a background humming sound.

  • Summary: I should have read all the reviews prior to purchase and saved myself a big hassle of returning it. Remote doesn't adjust volume or turn unit on and off, just advances CD to next song. Player had annoying hum in it. Really lousy, wish they still carried the Durabrand boombox, at least it held up.
