Summary: My Bose radio CD player of about 15 years died. Turns out the capacitors fry after 15-18 years wether used much or not. Always some current running through the unit even when turned off (if plugged in.) repairs run about $200. Be careful if buying used.

Summary: A nice used radio/CD - works perfectly on the kitchen counter. Great Bose sound - although I wonder if the bass is a bit overdone. The controls are very straight-forward to use. Radio reception seems fine in our suburban area. This should get much use over many years.
Summary: I really like the radio i bought, but was a little disappointed that the remote was not in the box, which on this unit it wasn't a big deal since you can operate the unit from the manual buttons on top...the ad said it came with a remote. the bag that the remote was in had been tore open like at the last minute they changed thier mind about sending it or forgot to put it back in the bag.
Summary: I love my Bose radio and I am very happy with it. It arrived at my house promptly and in excellent condition, in fact, I am listening to it now as we speak. Thank you for putting out such a quality radio with an appropriate price.

Summary: The Bose radio works wonderfully and was shipped in a clean new box, using an individual's name rather than blaring "Bose" on the box and arrived quickly. The internet ad advertised that it came with a remote. Instead, I was told to order and pay for a new remote from Bose and $15.00 would be deducted from the price of the Bose radio after I had made the Bose remote purchase.
